Welcome to the West Chester University PT3 Partnership for Excellence website.
We share a sense of urgency in preparing WCU graduates to meet the challenges of educating P-12 students in today's digital age.
Through this web portal we're working to communicate and collaborate with our partnership that includes the university, area P-12 schools, as well as local businesses and organizations. Our aim is to improve teaching and learning environments, using technology as a tool - here on our campus with preservice teachers and through the impact of our partners in the schools we serve.
Paid summer research internship experiences are available at The Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia. Students undertake independent research for 10 weeks in the summer working with Ph.D. scientists in fields related to ecology, systematic biology, biodiverisity, bioinformatics, taxonomy and history of science.
